Welcome to the Bungay Black Dog Running Club.

Situated centrally on the Norfolk / Suffolk border. We encourage all abilities to join, friendliness and comaraderie are our strengths. We host a variety of races throughout the year. We are more than just a running club, social activities feature strongly in our club calender and we hold more races than any other club in the county (probably!!).

Start of St Peters 20kOur main race of the year is The Great East Run, a 20k race run around the picuresque villages known 'The Saints'

We also organise a series of 10k road races from Broome, nr Bungay throughout the year which include a charity 10k race on Good Friday and a mid-week summer series. We also hold a Suffolk series cross country race at Broome for Suffolk affiliated clubs. The club also sponsors the Bungay Marathon.

We meet every Thursday evening at 6.00 pm and 6.30pm for informal runs followed by a training session at 7.00pm. We also meet every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for speed training, repetitions and hill sessions with Lynn, an Athletics Coach. We welcome people of all abilities and ages.

Both weekly sessions take place at the Bungay Sports Centre, situated to the right of Bungay High School.
