Yorkshire Marathon and 10 miler

Jess Bedingfield reports:

A trio of Black Dogs ventured into ‘God’s Own County’ to run in the Yorkshire Marathon and 10 mile races on a blustery day. Among this ‘Farrar clan’ (pictured below) I finished the 10 miler in 01:42:28 earning myself a PB, fudge Farrar finished the 10 miler in 01:49:13. Robin Farrar finished the Marathon in 04:44:03, his best time in years.

Chelmsford Marathon
Alice Kirk reports:
It took a long long time for the three of us (pictured below) to feel warm even once we started running on this freezing cold morning. The route was a three mile lap of the town centre before heading through parks and paths to eventually get to an undulating 15 miles of steady inclines on the roads before heading home again. Stuart Young had a great run and was the first of us to finish in 4.24. This was Jane Pattison’s first marathon and she had an equally brilliant run, coming home in 5.13, it was a absolute pleasure to run with her and to be supported by her friends along the route and at the finish. One to add to your bucket list.

Thetford Night Trail 10k
Rob Hall (pictured left)reports:
The Thetford Night Trail 10k took place on Friday evening beginning at 20.00hrs … a good head torch was essential to spot the tree stumps, roots, mud, sand etc. Almost 400 entrants made for a great event where I finished 41st in 50:49.
