Great East Run
10 Black Dogs were in Ipswich for this annual half marathon reported by Robin Farrar to be “quite breezy especially blowing down the long hill and progressively warmer”. See Hall of Fame for the stand-out results. The rest are here.
Karate Kid 6 Hour Challenge
Alice Kirk reports:
This was the first new event put on by The Suffolk Academy, better known as The Great Barrow Challenge family. The course loop was four laps of 6.5 miles of mixed terrain and nearly 2000 feet of elevation in total. There was a check point after each lap before running the lap in reverse. Pictured below, Jane Pattison, Stuart Young and Paul Bird did the half marathon distance while Karen Gedge, Sean Symonds and I did the marathon distance.
And finally, Bob Paul (pictured in the murk below) took on a wet Belfast Half Marathon today.
