On what was arguably the hottest day of the year, almost 100 Black Dogs, family and friends met on Thursday evening at the Earsham Queen for the annual Memorial Run.
The run is to remember those club members who are unfortunately no longer with us.
Previously the Jim Jervis Memorial Run, the club now acknowledges a number of past members: Roger Wing, Bob Barber, David Spoor, Joan Green, Jim Jervis, David Cook, Andrew Smith, Brian Hindle, Noel ‘Nooky’ Tyrrell, Roger Mawer, David Oldman, Don Tiffin and Ady Hunt.
Their contribution to the club was acknowledged and a toast was raised to them all.
The money raised was split between two charities: the British Heart Foundation and The Anthony Nolan Trust.
