Cheque presentation for the Leman for Life 2016. Included in the photo are two of Black Dog’s Juniors, on the left Peter Lowther and on the right Alfie Guard who represented The Sir John Leman High School on Saturday 3rd, in the first of the County Schools Championships held at Culford School.
The top 40 placed competitors are invited to the next event which will be the final county trial held at Woodbridge School on 12th January 2017. Peter came 29th in the Minor Boys race and Alfie came 36th in the junior boys race and so have both qualified for the final county trial.
Bungay Black Dog helps with the start, finish and advise on the course for the Leman for Life for the last six years. In 2016 the Leman for Life raised £9759.96 for the Beccles Friends of Cancer Research UK. The total raised for the six years is a magnificent amount £49136.89.
