Round Norfolk Relay Special…
54 Black Dogs over 4 teams completed the Virtual Round Norfolk Relay completing a total of over 790 miles (wow!) Well done to everyone who took part but a few #TopDogs to call out are:
Sarah Sparkes completed the greatest distance: 50.02 miles, Sarah also tied for the most stages completed with Karen Gedge and Rachel Hirst who all completed 3 each. George Major was our fastest athlete clocking an amazing average pace of 6:43 a mile over stage 10’s 18.13 miles. Finally, Sarah Wilby (one of our visually impaired runners) ran 5.49 miles in 01:22:41 UNTETHERED!
Additional thanks should also go to Rachel Hirst for organising and Chris Chorley for collating the results.
Don’t forget to email me with your own achievements or anyone you’d like to nominate. It would be great if people could also send in photos along with with their nominations.
