Try a Scarier Training Group?

Contrary to popular belief, Tuesday groups are not graded, the main difference between them mainly being ‘time on feet’ which varies from about 35 minutes for Pumas to 24 minutes or so for Tigers.

Runners are free to choose whichever group they want to join based on how much of a challenge they’d like to take on.

The best way to find out what you can achieve is to move out of your comfort zone.

Scary? Maybe, but that’s probably what you thought when you first joined the club and your achievements soon made you forget.

There is no reason why athletes shouldn’t move around between groups. For most sessions, groups train on interval times, not distance, with intervals rarely longer than eight minutes – a spell you can all run. And we run in small circles so you can’t get left behind.

Give it a go, nothing to lose, lots to gain.
